On Saturday April 4, the University at Albany men’s lacrosse team bested the Binghamton Bearcats by a score of 16-5.

This lead did not last long, as Gavin Jacobsen leveled the game 2-2, beating Smith and picking the top right corner with just over three minutes remaining in the opening quarter.

Winters made a series of saves to keep the Bearcats in the game, as the UAlbany offense was getting chances but was unable to capitalize.

UAlbany got their first man-up opportunity of the game towards the end of the first quarter, as Andrew Girolamo was flagged for a 30 second push. This bleed into the second quarter, but the Great Danes were unable to take advantage despite getting several shots.
