This past week saw the following results for University at Albany sports:

Volleyball celebrated Senior night on Friday (11/15).

Monday, November 10th
Women’s Basketball prevailed over the Dartmouth Big Green by a score of 65-41. Amaya Stewart led the charge for the Great Danes with 21 points and 11 rebounds. Lara Langermann was the other Great Dane to score in double figures, as she notched 12 points. Delanie Hill led the assists tally with 7. In total, UAlbany shot 49.1% from the field.
Tuesday, November 11th
Men’s Basketball set a program record for points, when they defeated the SUNY Delhi Broncos 115-52. Amir Lindsey led the way with 19 points. Zacharie Matulu had 17 points and 3 rebounds. Issac Abidde led in rebounds with 9.
Friday, November 14th
Volleyball earned a 3-0 win over the UMBC Retrievers on senior night. Shynelle Woroniuk led the way with 12 kills and 7 digs. Anna Myhal notched 7 kills and 14 digs. Maria Olga Siapani recorded an impressive 30 assists.
Men’s Basketball fell to the Rhode Island Rams 80-61. Amir Lindsey topped the scoring charts with 19. Zacharie Matulu had 14 points and 7 rebounds. Ife West-Ingram recorded 8 points while shooting 4-5.
Saturday, November 15th
Football fell to the Towson Tigers by a score of 36-19. Jack Shields went 15-31 for 154 yards with 2 interceptions and a touchdown. Aiden Semo, Jojo Uga and Lasalle Rose Jr each scored touchdowns for UAlbany. On defense, Troy Berschwinger and Chris Gales each had 10 total tackles.
Women’s Basketball faded late in a 64-52 loss to the Rhode Island Rams. Júlia Palomo Vicente led in points with 11. Lara Langermann was the other Great Dane to score in double figures with 10. Martina Borrellas led in rebounds with 6 and Amaya Stewart led in assists with 4.
